The objective of the project is to contribute to strengthened regional approaches to maritime security in the Gulf of Guinea. The outcome, is enhanced joined up responses of maritime security practitioners to shared threats to maritime security in the Gulf of Guinea. The overall objective will be achieved through three (3) main outputs:
- Development of research-based knowledge products as basis for dialogues
- Establishment of a platform for regular dialogue among international, regional and national actors
- Development of training courses for professional maritime security capacity
